Hot N’ Spicy Festival
This Saturday event welcomes the summer in St Augustine with the best and hottest Southern cuisine from local restaurants and retailers. The spicy food is accompanied by some of the tastiest of locally crafted beers to wash down the delicious sting of pepper. There are wagon rides, shows, live music farm tours for kids to enjoy too.
St. Augustine Celtic Music Heritage Festival
The first weekend of March brings the Celtic Music Heritage Festival to St. Augustine. Celtic musicians from all over the world come to perform traditional ballads and Celtic rock. Visitors can also enjoy the authentic booths crafted after ancient Celtic culture, highland games competition, special performances, a parade of clans, Celtic food and spirits, Celtic merchandise and local cuisine. There is also a whiskey tasting event too.
Flowers and Garden Expo
A weekend event that comes every April, the Flowers and Garden Expo Festival presents an opportunity to explore plant nurseries, plants presented by local growers, and a huge array of garden art. It is the perfect time to see different species of olive trees, herbs, succulent, aquatic plants, herbs, flowers citrus, native plants and more. Visitors also get the chance to attend lectures, quilt shows, the awards ceremony, and sample some of the best food and beverages from the area. There are tons of children activities to keep the little ones entertained.
Florida’s Birding and Photo Fest
It is a five-day festival held in late April, where world-class wildlife and nature photographers, instructors and experts come together. There are birding program and technical training for beginners and advanced photographers. Take boating excursions at different times of day and night to remote places around St. Augustine. Visitors also get to enjoy hikes and kayaking tours in some of the best landscape the country has to offer. Photo contest, exhibitors and sellers showcase the love of nature, birds and photography.
